After a lot of work updating the back-end of the site, FannyRocks.com is once again rocking.
When the site was transferred to the new host, we gained a lot of speed as the old host did not handle the site’s new design well (MySQL server was really slow for you techno-babble folks). But, an upgrade was applied by a server admin that caused havoc for not only this site, but for all the sites hosted where FannyRocks.com is now calling home. Been a month of pulling hair, but we have it straightened out.
I’ve asked Alice to help me contact the rest of Fanny to get updated information from them. They certainly have things in their professional lives that have updated in the last year, so we’ll get that posted as soon as we get the information. Also, Alice has promised to help me update the History pages with images and a tweak here and there on the verbiage. Also, I have a complete itinerary for Fanny for the year 1971 which is really interesting and promised to get that posted in early April.
You should find ordering T-shirts a lot easier now, we updated to a new little shopping cart plug-in that is very sweet indeed and makes posting new product a snap.
Oh, and all the videos will be returning to the Media Gallery here shortly. I am re-encoding them for better picture quality and even sound.
